It’s that time of year again

2023 holiday season
It’s that time of year again — Christmas is waiting just around the corner!!

The 2023 Christmas season is upon us. First, a BIG thank you to all donors and volunteers who made our Christmas for Kids (CFK) campaign a complete success in the 3 previous years! So far, we have provided 111 kids total with Christmas gifts in our community who would otherwise not have had a Christmas. So, thank you to all family, friends, neighbors, and local businesses that supported our CFK campaign in past years.

Our overall mission is to take on the fight against childhood poverty at every level in our community, and in ways that we hope will improve the lives of our children. We continue to work extremely hard to find donors for MFCE’s annual Christmas gift giving program and free
tutoring program, so please join us in our commitment to helping underprivileged children. One of the most important holidays of the year, Christmas, is when so many of our children miss out.

We want to affect that outcome and reach out to as many as we can during the holiday period. No child should wake up Christmas morning without gifts and we hope that you agree.

100% of donations designated towards Christmas gifts will go to the kids we support.

Two Christmas Poems written by the Director

Though we can’t give them the joy of sledding, in snow that’s oh so bright!
Or the smell of fresh chestnuts roasting on that open fire,
May our children be blessed with all their Christmas desires,
Singing carols maybe, baking cookies, awaiting Santa to show this night.
A Merry Christmas to all, and to all the kids much holiday delight!

Just Ain’t No Ordinary Christmas

The hustle and bustle of the Holiday season is about to begin,
What a spectacular day for family and friends, love ones and kin.
This Christmas just ain’t no ordinary Christmas, you see….

Our minds are filled with hope, cheerfulness, and the cares this seson will bring.
As snowflakes fall, sleigh bells ring, children laugh, Church choirs sing.
This Christmas just ain’t no ordinary Christmas, you see….
Oh! that we could share a just little this year,
Some of God’s blessings, and some good cheer,
To make a Christmas Day special to a child or two,
That Christmas may be extraordinary for children in need, and for me and for you.

Help make this an extraordinary Christmas this year!
Give a Gift of Love at Christmastime! Support your local MFCE charity!
We strive to give our disadvantaged children in the community a very Merry Christmas.
