2024 Strategic Goals

My Favorite Charity Events (MFCE) looks to 2024 as a year of positive growth and establishing itself as a local civic-minded charity that has developed its strategic goals to meet it’s mission to seek out resources to support a successful educational experience for all.

Through MFCE’s two programs:

(1) academically, free mathematics tutoring program, and

 (2) humanitarianly,  Christmas for Kids program we will improve the lives and future outlook of elementary school children. Incremental growth is important to MFCE, as we work to define the charity and build a network of like-minded organizations to support our mission.

Below are the MFCE’s 2024 strategic goals.

  1. 90 percent of students tutored will show growth in their mathematics SOL Assessment scores from Spring 2023 to Spring 2024.
  2. MFCE will increase the number of elementary school children it tutors by 100 percent.
  3. MFCE will increase the number of families receiving presents through our Christmas for Kids Program by 30 percent.
  4. MFCE will implement a free eye glass program for at-risk children.
  5. MFCE will increase the number of Grant submissions by 20 percent.

Our charity is unique in that we are a local charity with very specific programs and work directly with the school and provide very focused support rather than generic support provided by many charities. This is impactful because the children are receiving the precise instruction, they need in math to build math fundamentals and ultimately either pass or show progress on the SOL assessments and the children receive Christmas gifts that they really have asked Santa for.

The above strategic goals are adopted by My Favorite Charity Events and status to meet the goals will be reviewed on a quarterly basis and adjustments will be made as required to successfully meet the goals.
